Scope
The goal of this project is to propose a modern redesign of Yale’s digital platform to improve usability, enhance accessibility, and present a more visually cohesive experience. The current platform feels dated and unintuitive, and this concept aims to reimagine it as a clean, user-friendly interface that reflects Yale’s academic prestige while staying approachable.
Process
I analyzed the existing interface, identifying pain points such as cluttered navigation, inconsistent design patterns, and accessibility gaps. Based on these insights, I created wireframes and high-fidelity mockups that focused on simplifying user journeys, strengthening visual hierarchy, and ensuring responsiveness. The redesign proposal also incorporates accessibility best practices and scalable design components for future adaptability.
Proposed Impact
If implemented, this redesign is expected to:
Improve navigation efficiency by up to 40% through simplified menu structures and clearer pathways
Strengthen Yale’s digital brand identity with consistent typography, color, and spacing
Enhance user accessibility and device responsiveness for a smoother experience across all screen sizes
Present a polished, modern interface that balances usability with Yale’s institutional prestige
This concept lays the foundation for a more intuitive, future-ready Yale platform that better serves both students and staff.
