Scope

The goal of this project was to design a modern real estate platform that simplifies property management and rental experiences for landlords, tenants, and property seekers. The platform was conceptualised to address common challenges within the property rental space, including difficulty discovering trusted properties, managing tenancy relationships, and maintaining clear communication between property owners and occupants.

As the UI Designer, I focused on creating a clean, intuitive, and scalable interface that improves property discovery, simplifies user interactions, and builds trust through a structured and visually consistent experience. The design aimed to support both local users and members of the diaspora seeking reliable property solutions.

Process

I began by analysing the needs of the different user groups, including landlords managing properties, tenants searching for accommodation, and administrators overseeing platform operations. This helped identify key user journeys, usability challenges, and opportunities to create a smoother rental experience.

Based on these insights, I developed user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs focused on improving navigation, simplifying property discovery, and presenting information in a clear and organised manner.

This concept establishes the foundation for a modern property ecosystem that makes renting and managing properties more efficient, reliable, and user-centred.
